Mission:

The Data Science Core processes and stores data on brain structure and function and uses statistical analyses and mathematical modelling to derive fundamental properties.

Technology:

The core is designed to promote the interaction between numerical and empirical experiments. Data analysis is conducted with various mathematical tools and software using data collected from the Imaging Core and other laboratories with the aim of extracting fundamental properties of the brain. The core also conducts studies on the development of novel data analysis methods. Mathematical modelling by using the experimental data is also conducted for understanding more about brain properties.
